#LoveWITHAccountability was a 2 Part Special on #TheSpin with Producer/Host Esther Armah. Ms. Armah is also the visionary behind #EmotionalJustice, a multi media, multi platform creative campaigns transforming our legacy of untreated trauma into triumph.
#TheSpin's 2-part special was inspired by the launch of the 10-day #LoveWITHAccountaiblity online forum in the online publication The Feminist Wire. An international group of twenty-nine U.S.-based diasporic Black cisgender women, gender non-conforming people, trans* men, and cisgender men survivors, advocates, and one former bystander each weighed in on child sexual abuse, compassionate justice and loving accountably.
Created by Aishah Shahidah Simmons #LoveWITHAccountaiblity is a multimedia project that engages accountability as a radical form of love to end childhood sexual abuse.
The brainchild of Esther Armah, #TheSpin is a one hour, weekly radio show recorded via BBC Accra and NPR studios. The Spin is distributed by NPR Distribution and the Public Radio Satellite System. The show airs on the radio in Ghana, Nigeria, and on several NPR affiliates throughout the United States. It is also available on SoundCloud and iTunes podcasts via The Spin1 channel.
